薁，苯并环丁二烯和戊搭烯的拓扑共振能

为了阐明芳香性及磁性原因，用Ａｉｈａｒａ提出的ＴＲＥ概念计算了　，苯并环丁二烯和戊搭烯等烃的共振能，环共振能和环电流．计算结果表明　因有正共振能具有芳香性并产生反磁性环电流，而苯并环丁二烯和戊塔烯因有负共振能具有反芳香性并产生顺磁性环电流．     

Nonlinear heave-roll coupling and ship rolling

A nonlinear model for simulating the heave-roll motions of ships in following waves is presented. The parametric excitation is modeled by a Hill's type equation, instead of the conventional Mathieu's equation. The model includes not only the linear but also the quadratic coupling term. Instability conditions for parametrically excited rolling motions are derived using the harmonic balance method. The results are verified by numerical analyses. The effects of including the quadratic coupling term on the instability conditions and nonlinear responses are studied. The complex dynamic behaviour of the coupled system in the various instability regions is also investigated. Bifurcations of the flip, fold and pitchfork types are observed in the Poincaré mapping of the numerically simulated responses. Chaotic motions leading to boundary crises and inevitable capsize are also reported.     

利用Faraday效应的激光磁共振

本文叙述了在激光磁共振实验中,利用纵向磁光旋转效应-Famday效应来改善信噪比,并给出了这种方法的实验结果和理论分析.实验中,利用Faraday效应使信噪比改善约提高一个数量级.     

An equivalent polynomial approximation technique in nonlinear structural dynamics

Summary A new technique is proposed to obtain an approximate probability density for the response of a general nonlinear system under Gaussian white noise excitations. In this new technique, the original nonlinear system is replaced by another equivalent nonlinear system, structured by the polynomial formula, for which the exact solution of stationary probability density function is obtainable. Since the equivalent nonlinear system structured in this paper originates directly from certain classes of real nonlinear mechanical systems, the technique is applied to some very challenging nonlinear systems in order to show its power and efficiency. The calculated results show that applying the technique presented here can yield exact stationary solutions for the nonlinear oscillators. This is obtained by using an energy-dependent system, and for a nonlinearity of a more complex type. A more accurate approximate solution is then available, and is compared with the approximation. Application of the technique is illustrated by examples.     

Phonons and periodons in IV–VI semiconductor superlattices

We have calculated the phonon and periodon dispersion relations in IV–VI semi-conducting bulk PbTe and SnTe and their superlattice structure. The model used here is a one-dimensional lattice which includes harmonic interactions up to second neighbours as well as on-site nonlinear electron-ion interactions at the anion site. We calculate the phonon and periodon dispersion relations in bulk and PbTe-SnTe superlattice for the transverse optic and acoustic modes using the transfer matrix method. Our analysis has predicted correct nature of the folding of acoustic and confinement of optical phonons at various frequency intervals corresponding to pass and stop bands of the superlattices.     

Locally resolved photothermally modulated ferromagnetic resonance on epitaxial Fe-films deposited on laterally patterned GaAs

(0 0 1)Fe-mesa were grown on a GaAs high electron mobility transistor (HEMT)-structure. Magnetic properties were investigated by locally resolved photothermally modulated ferromagnetic resonance (PM-FMR). The surface and the in-plane anisotropy are decreased in HEMT-areas. The field independent response of PM-FMR provides information on the electrical properties of the GaAs-heterostructure and yields evidence of preparation dependent lifetime effects of the photo-carriers.     

Theoretical Calculations of g Factors and Hyperfine Structure Constants for Co2+ inCd2+(I) and Cd2+(II) Sites of CsCdCl3 Crystal

The g factors g‖,g⊥ and hyperfine structure constants A‖,A⊥ for two trigonal Co2+ centers (i.e.,Co2+ in Cd2+ (I) and Cd2+ (II) sites) in CsCdCl3:Co2+ crystals are calculated from the high-order perturbation formulas based on the cluster approach.In the calculation,the contributionsfrom covalency effect and configuration interaction effect are considered and the parameters related to both effects are obtained from the optical spectrum and the structure data of the studied system.The results are in good agreement with the observed values.
